MISHAWAKA - James F. Beck, 91, of
East Sixth Street, died at 2:15 p.m. Monday in Ironwood Health
and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend. Mr. Beck retired in 1971
from Fabricated Steel Products, South Bend, after 20 years of
service. He was born June 5, 1903, in South Milwaukee, Wis., and
lived in Mishawaka since 1945.
On July 6, 1926, in South Bend, he married
Bernice A. Holcomb. She died March 4, 1961. He is survived
by three daughters, Marilyn R. Kindley, Dixie L. Puntney
and Susan Muzynski, all of Mishawaka; three sons, James T.
of Fort Wayne, Charles F. of Mishawaka and Robert A. of South
Bend; 27 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Bubb
Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Fairview
Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the
funeral home.
