Mrs. Charlotte L. Beamer, 89, of the Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center, passed away on Monday evening, April 6, in her residence. She was born on May 14, 1908, to Wilson and Eliza (Wagner) Hoover in Warsaw, Ind. On May 14, 1932, in South Bend, Ind., she married George N. Beamer, Sr., a former United States District Court Judge, who preceded her in death in 1974. She is survived by her daughter, Judith A. Roempagel of South Bend; a son, George N. Beamer of Granger, Ind; four grandchildren, Mark Roempagel, Elizabeth Dinsmore, Rebecca Davis and Stephen Beamer; and by six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Beamer was a member of the First Brethren Church of South Bend, P.E.O. Sisterhood, the Order of Eastern Star, Progress Club and the Art Association.
