SOUTH BEND - Patricia Ann Austin, 53, of Toledo, Ohio (formerly of South Bend, IN) departed this life September 22, 2008 at 4:15 p.m., after a lengthy illness. Patricia was born South Bend, on October 1, 1954 to the union of Walter Walker and Addie Walker. Ms. Austin was a graduate of LaSalle High School in 1971, after high school Pat worked in the medical field as a certified medical assistant. Patricia leaves to cherish her husband, Michael Austin; mother, Addie Walker of South Bend; two sons, Michael Austin of Atlanta, GA, and Patrick Austin of South Bend, IN; one grandson, Michael D'Andre; three brothers, Walter (Samella) Walker of South Bend, IN; Kevin (Kathy) Walker of Grand Rapids, MI; Brent (Marian) Walker of Granger IN; one sister, Minnie Franklin of South Bend, IN and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter L. Walker II; two sisters, Rosa Johnson and Brenda Walker.

Services for Patricia Anne Austin will be Saturday September 27, 2008, at Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home 2702 Lincoln Way West, South Bend, IN. Visitation, 12 p.m.; funeral services, 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Chain Lake Cemetery. The Clark-O'Neal Funeral has been entrusted with the services.
