SOUTH BEND - Sherrie A. Arnold, 64, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Sherrie was born on November 12, 1943, in Fort Worth, TX, to the late George and Janie (Cremer) Hoffman. As the former Sherrie Hoffman, she married Jerry Arnold on November 3, 1962, in Fort Worth, TX. Jerry and Sherrie shared 45 years of love and commitment to each other. Jerry and Sherrie had two children, David Harrison Arnold and Marian Elizabeth Arnold, who both preceded her in death. Surviving are Sherrie's husband Jerry; and her sister, Georgia (Bill) Hill of Plano, TX. Sherrie is preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Shafer; and a brother, Charles James Hoffman. Sherrie retired from Southwestern Bell as an Area Supervisor from the Dallas, Fort Worth Texas region.

She was a member and the organist of the Twin City Baptist Church of Mishawaka. The funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Jerry Bell at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, July 26, 2008, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Bubb Funeral Chapel 3910 N. Main St. Mishawaka. Burial is to follow the service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola
