SOUTH BEND - Velma R. Armentrout, 71, of Moss Road, died at 4:10 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital after an illness.
Mrs. Armentrout retired in 1987 from Raco after 29 years of service. She was born July 5, 1924, in LaCrosse. Surviving are two sisters, Ethel Thoms of Chicago, and Rosetta Kepplin of South Bend.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to services Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
