8, 1956 - March 15, 2010SOUTH BEND - Susan Diane Armentrout, 53, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 1:42 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2010, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. She was born on June 8, 1956, in South Bend, IN, to John G. and Barbara L. (Martin) Armentrout. Susan is survived by her mother, Barbara L. (Bob Reed) Armentrout of South Bend, IN; paternal grandmother, Clara Armentrout of Argos, IN; special friend, Mark Elliott of South Bend; and all the staff and residents of Portage Manor. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, John G. Armentrout, on September 29, 1986. Susan was a lifelong resident of South Bend, graduating from Riley High School. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00-7:00 p.m. today and one hour prior to the services on Thursday in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Susan D.
