SOUTH BEND - Ottilia ''Tillie'' Arch, 89, of Countryside Place, Mishawaka, formerly of South Bend, died at 6:10 p.m. Thursday in the nursing home. Mrs. Arch was born July 29, 1906, in Hungary and lived in South Bend most of her life.

On Sept. 2, 1925, in South Bend, as Ottilia Tarr, she married Thomas L. Arch. He died Sept. 24, 1991. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Sanders of Michigan City and Mae Nowacki of South Bend; a grandson; two stepgrandsons; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and a brother, William Tarr of South Bend. She was a founder of St. Ann Society and a member of Sacred Heart and Rosary Society, both of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, Calvert Rod & Gun Club Auxiliary, and Deanery Council of Catholic Women.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where the rosary will be said at 3 p.m. by St. Ann Society and Sacred Heart and Rosary Society. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or any charity.
