-- Lucian A. "Doc" Arata, 87, of Shelbyville,
Ind., formerly of Mishawaka, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Walker
House, Shelbyville.
Survivors
include two daughters, Rose Ann Thurston of Bloomington,
Ind., and Virginia Tutterrow of Shelbyville; two sisters,
Adelaide Caleal of Detroit and Agnes Laux of
Dayton, Ohio; and two brothers, Justin and James, both of Fort
Wayne.
Services
will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church,
Shelbyville, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral Service, Shelbyville, is handling arrangements.
Editor: He was born in Mishawaka to Alphonsius Paul Arata and
Mary Geneva Schroeder. He married Anna D. Difiori
in Mishawaka 10-11-1939 and she died 3-31-2001.
