SOUTH BEND – Felix J. Antonelli, 83, of North Kentucky Street, died at 11:54 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Medical Center. He retired from the customer service department at Bendix in 1972, after 41 years of service. He was born Jan. 16, 1907 in Sheppton, Pa., and lived in the South Bend area for 42 years, coming from Sheppton.

In 1933 he married Velma Soos. She died in 1945. On June 9, 1946 he married Irene Kaniewski. She survives with two sons, Felix Jr. of Torrence, Calif., and Rev. Robert Antonelli CSC, of Notre Dame; four grandchildren; two sisters, Violet Konschnik of West Hazelton, Pa. And Angeline Ovechka of Bridgeport, Conn.; and three brothers, Harry of Bethlehem, Pa., Vincent of Connecticut, and Rev. Louis of the Stigmatine Father’s of Massachusetts Order in Guam. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where the rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church building fund.
