PLYMOUTH - Evelyn J. Blanchard Anderson,
89, of Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth, Ind., passed away at 10:45
a.m. Thursday, June 27, in Miller's Merry Manor. Evelyn was born
Aug. 13, 1912, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Henry and Irma (Fisher)
Hartman, and lived in the St. Joseph County area all of
her life. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her
first husband, Loran Blanchard in 1958; her second
husband, Orville Anderson in 1979; her parents; a daughter,
Betty; and by a son, Loran. She is survived by two daughters,
Dottie Chadwick Hacker of South Bend, Ind., and Martha Amor
of Koontz Lake, Ind.; two sons, Charles Blanchard of Mishawaka,
Ind., and Darrell Blanchard of Golden, Colo.; one sister, Dorothy
Young of South Bend; and by 22 grandchildren and 34
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m.
Saturday in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Burial
will be at Riverview Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from
5 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
