SOUTH BEND - Donnabelle L. Anderson, 83, of South
Ironwood, formerly of Bowman Street, South Bend, passed away on
Friday, February 1, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center,
South Bend. On April 22, 1924, in Bremen, IN, Donnabelle was born
as the daughter of Alfred and Respa (Bowser) Drudge.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by four brothers.
In September 1942, in Bremen, as the former
Donnabelle Drudge, she married Beecher L. Anderson, who preceded
her in death on September 17, 1994. Surviving Donnabelle are two
sisters, Dorlyn (Pete) Stebbins of Mishawaka and Mary E. Troxel
of Bremen, and many nieces and nephews. Donnabelle was employed
by the South Bend Credit Bureau for 45 years before her
retirement.
Friends and family may call on Monday, Feb.
4th, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, from
4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday,
Feb. 5th, in the Hahn Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Davidson,
pastor of Coalbush United Church, Mishawaka, officiating. Burial
will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Granger.
Contributions in memory of Donnabelle may be made to the charity
of the donor's choice.
