Benjamin Franklin Anders

Benjamin Franklin Anders, age 66, of 402 North Wenger street, died in his home
Sunday morning at 7:50 o'clock after an illness of three months of heart
disease.  He was born Dec. 7, 1865 in Columbia City, Ind., and came here from
Tippecanoe, Ind., 11 years ago.  He was married in 1880 in LaPorte, Ind., to
Miss Sarah Swanson, who survives.  He was employed in the Dodge Manufacturing
corporation.
     Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Carl Zehrung and
Mrs. Andrew Tackash, both of Mishawaka, and 11 grandchildren.  One sister,
Mrs. Jennie Canan, Inwood, Ind., and two brothers, George Anders of Inwood and
Iro, of Warsaw, Ind., also survive.  The body may be viewed in the Losson B.
Hunt mortuary until 6 o'clock tonight at which time it will be taken to the
residence to be viewed there until the hour of the funeral, 2:30 o'clock
Tuesday afternoon in the First Christian church here.  Rev. Elmer Ward Cole,
D.D., pastor of the First Christian church, South Bend, will officiate, and
burial will be in Fairview cemetery.  Members of the Men's Bible class of the
First Christian church will act as pallbearers.  The family requests that
flowers be omitted.
