This is the independent Order of Odd Fellows. The first recorded Lodge of Odd Fellows began in England in 1745. Historically this organization was started to help each other obtain jobs when out of work. They were known as the poor mans Masonry. The initiate must believe in the Supreme Being. A Lodge which has its origins in the 1890's exists in South Bend to this Day.
