 Founded on October 28, 1894 the M.R  Falcons are the oldest nest in Falcon District 4 .

The purpose of the Nest is the awakening, the furthering and maintenance of the Polish National Spirit; the encouragement of gymnastics in general and of mental hygiene and development of exercises in particular, thereby building up among the members, a spirit of manliness and helpfulness of association and mutual aid.

The motto of the Nest : A sound mind in a sound body. The Falcon salutation: "Czolem".

The original Falcon nest located at 416-420 Chapin Street in South Bend was remodeled in 1939. The nest has since moved to new quarters on Bendix Drive, near the Michiana Regional Airport.
