The Descendents of Maciej and Konstancja (Kulinska) Wozniak

Gniezno, Poland

This branch of the Wozniak family has its origins in Gniezno, Poland. The earliest known forbearer is Maciej and Konstancja (Kulinska) Wozniak born in the 1820 who remained in Poland. Their son Jacob and his wife Mary Pieniazkiewicz immigrated to this country in 1872. They raised 9 children and are at rest in Cedar Grove Cemetery at Notre Dame. Their son Frank born in 1875 married Prakseda Sadie Rakowski in 1904 in South Bend and their son George born in 1908 will marry Anastasia Chrustowski in 1936 in South Bend and their son Donald will marry Roberta Banasiewicz in 1966 at St Adalberts in South Bend. Their daughter Kim will marry Jeff Kinyon

Jacob was the brother of Stanislaus pictured above with wife Anna Gniot and family.
