The Martin and Praxida “Sadie” (Rosik) Borlik Family

Martin Borlik was born about 1848 in Prussian Poland the son of Ignatius Borlik and Mary Kwiatkowski. On February 7, 1875 in Prussian, Poland he will marry the former Praxida Rosik the daughter of John and Frances (Pukrup) Rosik. They will emigrate to America in 1880 arriving at South Bend, Ind., on May 2, 1880 where they settled in the area near Crumstown, Ind.

Eleven Children were born to this union, Antonia, Martha Mary, Julia, Stella, Steve,John, Helen T. , Lottie, Sophia, Mary, Frank, Hattie. The family will farm in the Crumstown area where Sadie will pass in 1930 at 71years, Martin will follow in 1940 at 91 years.


The Stanislaus and Martha Mary (Borlik) Izdepski Family

Stanislaus Izdepski was born September 14 1874 in Postolin, Poland the son of Francis Izdepski and Anna Kolvicz. On June 12, 1901 in South Bend, Ind. He marries the former Mary Martha Borlik, the daughter of Martin and Sadie Borlik of Crumstown, Ind. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.

Stanislaus was a hard working, self educated man who initially made his profession as a molder in the Foundry at Breman, Ind., the families initial home. About 1909 the family moved to a farm near New Carlisle, Ind where the original home stands to this day. In 1919 they moved to Conrath, Wi., where some of their children live to this day. Five children were born to this union, Lucian Felix, Marguerite Helen, Stanley Martin, Paul Richard, Florence Viriginia.

Stanislaus will pass in 1949 at Sturgis, Mi. and Martha will follow in 1959 at San Bernadino, Ca.
