Highlights of the Museum Collection

The Alton Goin Museum is home to many interesting antiques and memorabilia. Most of the items were donated by people who've lived here or whose families were some of the early settlers or residents of the Portage area. Some of the items are general-interest antiques from days gone by.

Here are photos of some past displays from the old museum. If you haven't visited recently, you'll be surprised at the changes. The museum has moved to its new location in the building next door so there are new and different things to see! Come on by and take a look!
