REMARK: Grasselli Chemical Company was located in East Chicago, Lake Co., Indiana. The company was also locally known as the Grasselli Chemical Works. The facility was located along the Calumet River, and the company was later purchased by DuPont in 1928. A postal office was maintained in Grasselli from May 4, 1905, to December 31, 1911, when mail service was transferred to East Chicago.
