REMARK: The Central House Hotel was originally located in "City West," a lost townsite that was along Lake Michigan. The structure was moved to the southwest corner of the intersection of Second Street and Broadway in Chesterton. The Methodist Episcopal Church is located behind the hotel. Later, the building was Eschenbach’s Hotel and Restaurant, as well as the drug store and dental office for Arthur E. Nickel.
