Germania in Amerika Index
Germania in Amerika Index
By indexing the Germania in
Amerika articles that were originally published in our TWIGS newsletters
(and now in its own book form), we hope to assist genealogists gain clues so as
to further their family research. Please refer to the November 1995 issue of
TWIGS, where the first Germania in Amerika article written by Paul A.
Davis introduces his series of articles. This series of articles provides a
wealth of information concerning very early Lake County German family surnames
and their origins.
We are delighted that Mr. Davis has taken his time to support our genealogical
society and its bi-monthly newsletter, TWIGS, and write these articles for
gratis.
If you happen to find one of your surnames in this index and would like to have more information, please either view our research policy or the publication sheet.
NOTE:
The use of ( ) means Maiden Name
The use of [ ] means Nickname (in some cases this was used for married names)
The use of " " means Name Spelling Variations
