FUNERAL SERVICES ARE DELAYED BY THE ABSENCE OF ONLY SON

“Large Photo”, Caption: Mrs. Amelia Hasty

With the death of Mrs. Amelia Hasty, wife of the Rev. E.F. Hasty, which occurred Sunday evening, the Methodist Episcopal church lost one of its most earnest workers. She was probably the best known minister’s wife in the state and had resided in many Indiana towns. Her husband is now general agent of the Preacher’s Aid Society of the Northern Indiana M.E. Conference. Since her marriage with Mr. Hasty she had resided in Greencastle, which was her home; Kendallville, Warsaw, Goshen, Noblesville, Marion, Mishawaka, Richmond, Knightstown, Muncie, Elkhart, Ligonier, Tipton, Union City, Pendleton, and again in Muncie. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made owing to the absence of her only son, who is a traveling man, and the inability of his firm to get word to him of her death.
