Obituary

Mary Kendall was born in Henry County Indiana Sept. 2, 1837 and was married to V. Kendall Feb. 8, 1855 (this should be Feb.5, 1857) to them was born 9 children 6 of whom are still living.

Mrs. Kendall professed faith in Christ when but 11 years old and united with the Methodist Church of which she has lived a christian life. Her life is an inheritance of her children and should be an incentive ever pointing onward and upward to God.

"Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord. Yea, saith the spirit, that they may rest from their labors and works do follow them" Her funeral was conduction by Rev. A.K. Bone at the Methodist Church and the remains were laid to rest in the Atwood cemetery Monday Oct. 7, 1912
