Emory C. Beam

Lewisville- Following a brief illness, Emory C Beam, 68, died Monday morning at Henry County Hospital. He was a veteran of World War I, a retired employee of Kraft Food Co. and operated the Wilson Milk Plant here several years.

Mr. Beam was a member of the Lewisville Methodist Church, Lewisville Lodge No. 72 Free and Accepted Masons, Order of the Eastern Star, Loins club, Lewisville Brotherhood and Sisterhood and the Cambridge City Charter and Council of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors besides the widow Hazel, three daughter, Mrs. Paul Graham of Lewisville, Mrs. Rex Brooks RR 2, New Castle and Mrs. Ben Knotts, of Knightstown, one son Emory Jr, Lewisville, three brothers Paul and Earl Beam of Indianapolis and Carl of Cambridge City, four half sisters, one half brother 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services for Mr. Beam were held Thursday at 2 pm at Lewisville Methodist Church with Rev. Marion Hickman and Vernon Taylor officiating. Burial and graveside services conducted by Lewisville Masonic Lodge, were in Lewisville Cemetery, in charge of Dolls Funeral Home at Dublin.
