At this time the INGenWeb Group would like to thank
Pat for her service to the project and ask for prayer's for her recovery.
She has had to give up the site due to health problems. We pray for
her speedy recovery and return.
In June 1996, a group of genealogists organized the Indiana Comprehensive
Genealogy Database. The idea was to provide a single entry point for
all counties in Indiana, where collected databases would be stored.
In addition, the databases would be indexed and cross-indexed, so that
even if an individual were found in more than one county, they could
be located in the index.
At the same time, volunteers were found who were willing to coordinate
the collection of databases and generally oversee the contents of the
web page.
My name is Pat Mount and I am the person responsible for the Henry County,
Indiana Genealogy and History web site. If you would like to contribute
information to this page, please let me know. If you would like to host
a county, contact
Denise Wells, our state coordinator. I would like to take this opportunity
to thank Linda Aker and Darlene Anderson for their contributions as previous
county coordinators for the Henry County INGenWeb site. Their hard-work
and dedication to Henry County, Indiana shows in the amount of information
on this web site. Thanks!
