Censuses 1880-1900-1910 (partial)
Census 1890 : Over 99 percent of the 1890 population schedules were destroyed in a fire which took place in January 1921 at the Commerce Building in Washington, D.C. From statistics, the number of Belgians was 22 639.
There is a table for 1890 but for Belgium and Luxemburg combined at Open Library giving the total at 25 521.
