Elizabeth Esque, who died in St. Louis

ESQUE
What was the maiden name of Elizabeth Esque, who died in St. Louis June 27, 1943? If anyone with this information would contact Jim Esque, he would be most appreciative. His address is 11765 Campo Seco Road, Sonora, CA 95370. Mr. Esque was in our library last week, and we were unable to come up with anything to help him.
