White Pines State Park Waitress Staff - 1949

Picture from Betty Obendorf from 1949 of herself and other co-workers at White Pines. John Maxson was the manager. He later bought the Laughlin property from the Church of God (1950) and it became Maxson's Manor.

"I was Betty Isley. The year was 1949. 1st row was Delores Cooper, Polo, Pearl Stoner, Polo. 2nd Row was Audrey Miller, Edna Dew, Polo, 2 visitors, Edna Mae Sheely, Pine Creek, Loretta Yeakle. 3rd Row, Shirley Rhodes, Polo, Betty Isley, Polo, Dottie Terry, Polo, and Dorothy Cooper, Polo. Dorothy Cooper was the hostess of the Restaurant. Shirley Rhodes might have lived in the Pine Creek area. She did later in life when she married Jim Sheely."
