CATHERINE BRESSLER DIES

Mrs. Catherine Bressler, 86, of Leaf River died at her home Friday, June 11, after an illness of nine weeks. She was born in Adeline in March 1851 and had spent most of her life there and in Leaf River. She was twice married, first to Cephus Mullen, who was killed during a cyclone in Adeline in 1898 and lated to Ed. Bressler, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Nora Wilson of Nicholasville, Ky. and several grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Joe Rock of Mt. Morris, died several years ago.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the home and followed by services at the Lutheran church of Mt. Morris, Rev. C. H. Hightower officating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery of Mt. Morris.

Those from a distance attending services were: Mrs. Nora Wilson, Clifford Richaman and Mrs. Fain of Nicholasville, Ky., Mr. and Mrs. Orville Rock of Belvidere, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stone, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Bressler and son and daughter of Rockford and Harry Rock of Mt. Morris.
