Jasper Newton Stonebraker obit, Alameda Time Star Oct 16, 1930

Jasper Newton Stonebraker, 84, died in Letterman General Hospital, San Francisco, following a paralytic stroke. Stonebraker had been a resident of Alameda for four years and as a member of the GAR.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sophia E. Stonebraker; a daughter, Mrs. Edna S. Steele, 1198 Ninth street, and was grandfather of Mrs. Bennet Finley, Mrs. William J. Pearson, and Fred H. Steele of Tulsa Okla.

The Rev. Robert E. Cooper, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, of which Stonebraker was a member, will officiate during the funeral services to be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence chapel of Fowler-Anderson, 2244 Santa Clara Avenue. Entombment will be in Sunset Mausoleum

Steele of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mrs. Bennett Finley and Mrs. Wm J. Pearson; a resident of Alameda for the past four years; aged 84.

Services will be conducted Friday October 17, 1930, at 2:30 p.m. from the residence Chapel of Fowler-Anderson Funeral Directors, 2244 Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda. Entombment, Sunset View Mausoleum.
