HENRY MORING -- Forreston, Dec 6 -- Henry Moring, 79, died yesterday at 3:20 pm at the home of his son, Nathaniel, where he had been residing for the past six months. He had been in ill health for some time but failed to rally from a stroke suffered ten days ago.

Born in Ogle County near North Grove July 17, 1855, his marriage to Minnie Koeller was an event of March 18, 1879. His wife preceded him in death Nov 11, 1918.

Surviving are five sons, William and Ed of Freeport, Ben and John of Shannon and Nathaniel of Forreston; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Temple of Shannon, Mrs. Emma Wubbena of Freeport and Mrs. Nettie Wubbena of Shannon; a brother, Lewis of Shannon; a sister, Mrs. Stella Garrells of Idaho, twenty-four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 pm from the home of Nathaniel Moring and at 1:30 pm from Prairie Dell Church, of which he was a member, the Rev Albert Manus officiating. Burial will be in the adjacent cemetery.
