Forreston Herald - August 1890

Died at her residence in the town of Maryland, Friday, August 22, 1890, Mrs. John F. Blair of consumption. She was born in New York City, October 25, 1844, and was aged 45 years, 9 months, and 27 days. Miss Amelia A. Robbins was wedded to John F. Blair, September 16, 1862. Services were held at the homestead, Sunday afternoon, and the funeral sermon preached by Rev. H. D. Healy, after which the remains were conveyed to and interred in the Adeline Cemetery. She leaves six children. We estimated the number of persons at the house at four hundred. There were one hundred and twenty six teams in the procession.
