Cora B. Wintler, 90, of Roodhouse dies

ROODHOUSE - Cora B. Wintler, 90, died at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at White Hall Hospital.

She was born April 7, 1894, in Scott County, a daughter of Albert M. and Lucy Stubblefield Lemon.

She married Clark W. Smith, in 1918, and he died in 1935. She then married Clarence J. Wintler in 1945, and he preceded her in death in 1962.

She is survived by a son, Keith W. Smith of Roodhouse, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded by two brother and four sisters.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roodhouse.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mackey-Daws Funeral Home at Roodhouse with burial in Manchester Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday, family to meet friends, 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials suggested to the First Baptist Church of Roodhouse.
