Mrs. Joseph Haugh, 72, of New Berlin, dies; funeral to be Friday

NEW BERLIN-- Mrs. Mary E. Haugh, 72, wife of Joseph Haugh of rural Loami, died at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's hospital in Springfield.

Mrs. Haugh was born at New Berlin Oct. 3, 1903, daughter of Dominick and Ann Corrigan Reed. She was married in New Berlin Feb. 21, 1927, and is survived by her husband and these children; Joseph B. Haugh, New Berlin; Doris Robinson and Rosemary LeMasters, both of Springfield; Margaret Ann Dwyer, Ridley Park, Pa.; and Bernadine Pillar, Lombard. There are 20 grandchildren.

These sisters and brother survive: Bernard J. (Bud) Reed of Shipman; Sister Rosemary, Springfield; and Catherine Stapleton, Springfield. Five brothers and one sister preceded in death.

The deceased was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and the Altar Society and C.D. and A. of the church and the Tekawitha club.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic church in New Berlin with Father Paul Hebenstreit officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

Friends may call at the McCullough Funeral Home at New Berlin 4 to 9 p.m. today with the Rosary at 8 p.m.
