TINSLEY SR., THEODORE R.

Theodore R. Tinsley Sr., 61 of 2119 E. Spruce St. a retired employee of the Freeman Crown Coal Mine at Farmersville, was dead on arrival at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. John�s Hospital.

A resident of Springfield for 20 years, Mr. Tinsley was born in Andrew. He attended the Third Presbyterian Church and was a member of the UMW of A.

Surviving are his wife, Mable L; two sons, Theodore Jr., of U.S. Army, Korea, and Marvin Lee of U.S. Air Force, VietNam; two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Creason and Mrs. Dorothy Conaway both of Springfield and three grandchildren.

The body is at Vancil Funeral Mansion.


TINSLEY, MABLE THOMAS

Mrs. Mable Tinsley, 77, of Williamsville died at 12:02 p.m. Wednesday at her home.

She was born in Springfield on Sept. 19, 1908. The daughter of George and Bertha Price Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Tinsley in 1966, and one sister, Evalee Zola.

Surviving are two sons, Theodore Tinsley of Springfield and Marvin Tinsley of Crest Hill, two daughters, Dorothy Nelson of Williamsville and Gloria Gum of Petersburg: three brothers, George Thomas of Sherman and Milton and Melvin Thomas, both of Springfield: four sisters, Lavina Phoenix, Frances Tozier and Florence Thomas, all of Springfield, and Bertha Losey of Jacksonville: 12 grandchildren: one great-grandchild: several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Burns officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.


CREASON, RANDALL

Randall Creason, 56, of Springfield died Sunday at St. John�s Hospital.

He was born Jan. 19, 1942, in Gabe, Ky., the son of John Elliot and Maudie Lobe Creason.

Mr. Creason was a resident of Springfield since 1950.

Survivors: a daughter, Gloria Jean Boosinger of Springfield; a step-daughter, Della Thomas of Springfield; two sons, Randall "Eugene" Creason of Pittsburg and Roger Dale Creason of Springfield; a stepson Jim Davis of Athens; several grandchildren; stepmother, Beatrice Creason of California; three sisters, Geneva Horne of Panama City, Fla., and Rita McCarthy and Mary Schwin, both of Springfield; two h alf sisters, Bonnie Sue and Linda Key Creason, both of Missouri; a brother, Eugene Creason of Springfield; three half brothers, Kenny, David and Jessie, Creason, all of Missouri; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services: 11 a.m., Wednesday, Staab Funeral Home, with Robert Green officiating. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, near Riverton.
