William Kesinger died July 8, 1904.

Born in Barren County, Kentucky April 1, 1835. Parents were Daniel and Rachel Kesinger, also natives of that state, Kentucky. The family moved to Greene County in 1847. Since then most of Mr. Kesinger's life has been passed near Wrightsville. He was long a successful farmer, stock grower and dealer in grain. For sometime he was a partner with H. M. Hunt in the latter business at White Hall and Wrightsville.

He and Miss Cassandra Davidson, daughter of John Davidson were married January 1, 1856. Her death occurred July 31, 1903.

Their surviving children are Laura wife of John Flowers of Wrightsville, John L. of Rubicon township, Louisa wife of Clarence Mosier of Wyconda, Missouri and T. A. of White Hall. Leaves three brothers, J. C., C.A. and P. F. all of Wrights and one sister, Loretta, wife of James Davidson of Oklahoma. Funeral at Hickory Grove Baptist Church."
