   My grandmother, Bertha Roena Kennedy above at age 5, born 9 Apr 1899 in Morgan County. The picture above was used to advertize her mother's Feather Legged Brama chickens in the "Prairie Farmer" in 1904. Bertha was the daughter of James Oliver & Louisa Ann Goodpasture Kennedy. Bertha died in 1983 and is buried with her parents and brother in Arcadia Cemetery. Submitted by Roena Henne |
