Morrow
Mrs. George Morrow passed away at the family home near Waverly Monday morning at 12:15 after an illness of three weeks with pneumonia.
She was a daughter of Henry L. Jackson, of this city, and was well known here. She is survived by her husband and six children, in addition to one sister and six brothers.
Deceased was born in this county in 1862 and has always lived in this vicinity. Eighteen eyars ago, she was united in marriage to George Morrow and to the time of her death was a loving and faithful wife. The many friends of the family in this vicinity will tender their sympathy to the bereaved husband and children.
The remains will be taken to Pisgah on the noon train on the J. & ST. L. and conveyed to Asbury church, where funeral services will be held.
Note: Mrs. George Morrow (Evaline S. Jackson) was born April 9, 1863 in Jacksonville, the daughter of Henry Lucarbille and Salina Bacon Jackson and died April 18, 1904. George Thornton Morrow and Eva were married April 18, 1889 in Jacksonville.

George Morrow Passes Away at His Home Yesterday - Funeral Will be Held Tomorrow
Woodson, Nov. 19 -- The death of George Morrow occurred yesterday afternoon at his home here at 5:45 o'clock. Mr. Morrow had been a resident of Woodson for many years.
He was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, January 28, 1862, the son of William and Emily Sheppard Morrow. He was united in marriage to Eva Johnson in Jacksonville on April 18, 1889. He was married a second time to Emma Smith on September 21, 1915. He leaves his wife and the following children: W. H. Morrow, Alexander, Mrs. Lona Shawen, Sinclair, Charles E. Morrow, Woodson, Harry B. Morrow, Alexander, Clarence A. Morrow, Alexander and Lucy Ellen McCurley, Modesto. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. William Hembrough and Mrs. Mary Darling of Jacksonville, Mrs. Viola McCurley of Modesto and William Reynolds of Jacksonville.
Mr. Morrow had been engaged recently as a teamster and previously as a farmer.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Presbyterian church in Woodson with interment in Asbury cemetery.
Note: The above article states that George Thornton Morrow was untied in marriage to Eva "Johnson". His wife's name should be corrected to read Eva "Jackson", Eva being the daughter of Henry L. and Salina Bacon Jackson.

Set Services for Former Local Residents
Double funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Harry Morrow of Tucson, Ariz., former local residents whose deaths occurred within a two day period, will be held here Sunday.
Mr. Morrow, 69, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at his home in Tucson. His wife, 54, died Tuesday after an illness of several weeks.
The couple had lived in Tucson for the past 12 years.
Helen Goodin Morrow as born in White Hall Sept. 18, 1913, daughter of Edward and Nona Elmore Phillips. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Nina Phillips of Los Angeles, four children: Captain Donald Goodin, stationed with the U.S. Air Force in Bermuda, Army Sergeant Ronald L. Goodin, Fort Walters, Tex., William E. Goodin and Mrs. Dorothy Mae Blair, both of Peoria; 12 grandchildren and one sister, Dorothy Stovall Abernathy of Jacksonville.
One sister preceded her in death.
Mr. Morrow was born June 21, 1898, son of George and Ava Morrow.
He leaves a sister, Lucy Ellen McCurley.
Three brothers, William, Clarence and Charles Morrow and a sister, Lona Shawen, preceded him in death.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Williamson Funeral Home, Rev. Dale Robb officiating. Burial will be in Asbury cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Friday.
Note: Harry Bryan Morrow was a son of George Thornson and Evaline "Eva" S. Jackson Morrow.
