ROBERT WALLACE HAS NINETY-FIRST BIRTHDAY

Robert P. Wallace who makes his home with Charles Osborne on West Palm street, was 91 years of age on the 28th day of November, 1941. Although in a somewhat crippled condition, his general health is good.

Mr. Wallace was born on a farm east of Roodhouse, the son of Mr.and Mrs. James Wallace. His parents moved to Winchester when he was six years old, and he grew up in Scott county. He was engaged at farming in Missouri for fourteen year, and for several years in Scott county before locating in Roodhouse.

He was engaged in the drayage business here for twenty years of more. That was in the horse and wagon days, before the motor truck usurped the hauling field. He retired a good many years ago.

Mr. Wallace is a member of the Barrow Baptist church. He spends considerable time reading the Bible and studying the Scriptures, and enjoys having friends call.

He has a son Fred Wallace of New Jersey, and a daughter in Nebraska.
