FAREWELL PARTY FOR SAMPLE FAMILY

Nortonville - Van Seymour moved Mr. and Mrs. Hillard Sample and family to Otterville Friday where Mr. Sample will engage in a general merchandise store. Mr. Sample has served as clerk on the local school board for a number of years. Mrs. Sample has been active in social and school clubs and the family will be missed very much.

Saturday night a farewell surprise party was tendered them and Mr. and Mrs. John Friend who are going to reside in Chicago this winter. The affair was held in the I.O.O.F. hall. The evening was spent in a social way and several games were enjoyed. Refreshments were served at a late hour.
