Marjorie E. Wyatt, 83, of Jacksonville, died Wednesday afternoon, March 21, 1002, at the Jacksonville Convalescent Center.

She was born on Jan. 17, 1918, near Scottville in Macoupin County, the daughter of Albert Eugene "Tink" and Lois Rochester Mansfield. She married Jim Wyatt and he preceded her in death in 1989.

She is survived by three sisters, Wanda Mansfield of Jacksonville; Dorothy (husband, Adie) Damrau of Jacksonville and Joan VanBebber of Lutz, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, David Mansfield; and two sisters, Helen M. Green and Betty Mansfield.

Mrs. Wyatt was a laboratory technician at the Union Starch Laboratory in Granite City for many years. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Granite City and enjoyed flower gardening and cats.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Williamson Funeral Home, with burial at Youngblood Cemetery in Nortonville. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home where family will meet with friends from 6-8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.
