ROBERT LEWIS STILLWELL

Robert Lewis (Louie) Stillwell, formerly of Waverly and a resident of California the past 27 years, died Saturday, July 23, at 63 years of age.

He was born near Waverly on Aug. 30, 1914, the son of James and Sarah Dennis Stillwell. He married Minnie McCann, who survives with these children: Connie Holbert of Bloomington; Robert, Jr., of Torrence, Calif.; Rex of Japan; David, Springfield, Mo.; and James of Quincy. There are 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

These brothers and sisters survive: Joe of Waverly, Rex of Gallatin, Mo.; Georgia Austin, Galesburg; Nellie Austif, Jacksonville; and Bessie Wagstaff of Peoria.

Funeral services were held Wed. at Neece Funeral Home in Waverly. Rev. Jack Brown of the Waverly First Baptist Church officiated and Mrs. Brown and he sang two selections. Norma Woods was the organist.

The pallbearers were Albert roach, Mule Stuart, Randall Austif, Ned Witherbee, Paul Chaudoin and Carroll Chaudoin.

The flower Ladies were Ruth Smith, Dorothy Chute, and Geraldine Roach.

Interment was in Youngblood Cemetery at Nortonville.
