MRS. EARL SPENCER DIES; FUNERAL HELD TUESDAY

Mrs. Edna A. Spencer, 68, of Franklin route one, formerly of Modesto, died at 9:45 Sunday morning at Passavant hospital. The body was taken to Stults Funeral home at Palmyra.

She is survived by her husband, W. E. Spencer; five stepsons, Lester Spencer of Media, Pa.; Wayne Spencer, Franklin; Ralph Spencer of San Jose, Calif.; Gerald Spencer, of Salina, Calif; Harold Spencer of the Phillippines; and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Leta Hamm of Arenzville.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon from the Franklin Baptist church with Rev. Kenneth Day officiating. Mrs. Wanda Greer and Mrs. Lois Hayes, accompanied by Mrs. Sandra McKinney, sang "The Lights of Home" and "Sweet Peace." Caring for the flowers were Madge Hayes, Opal Hayes, Inez Anderson and Lucille Smith.

Pallbearers were Harvey Smith, Earl Hayes, Roy Anderson, Albert Love, Ted Greer and Leslie Smith. Burial was in the Youngblood Cemetery at Nortonville.
