LOYD SORRELLS DIES; RITES HELD SUNDAY

Loyd E. Sorrells, 75, of Nortonville died at 12:45 Friday afternoon at Passavant hospital. He was born Dec. 13th, 1894 in Bonaparte, Iowa, son of Edgar and Thana Kehl Sorrels. He married Vena Spencer June 5, 1926, and she survives. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Claude Bolton; a niece, Miss Helen Bolton, and a nephew, Keith Bolton.

Services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Youngblood Baptist church in Nortonville, with Rev. Kenneth Anders officiating. Mrs. Brenda Chaudoin was at the piano for duet number by Mrs. Karen Crowe and Miss Susan Penick. Flowers were cared for by Mrs. Ruth Ella Vedder, Mrs. Meda Chaudoin, Mrs. Ora Kelly and Miss Juanita True.

Pallbearers were Harry Mason, Orval Mutch, Robert Whitlock, Wayne Henry, Herbert True and Carroll Chaudoin. Interment was in the church cemetery.

The Neece Funeral Home at Franklin was in charge of arrangements.
