Winona Smith
1905-1999
WHITE HALL

Winona Smith, 93, of White Hall, died Thursday morning, Feb. 11, 1999, at the White Hall Multicare Center in White Hall.

She was born April 21, 1905, in Woodson, the daughter of Robert and Luella Henry. She married David Claude Smith in 1925, and he preceded her in death in 1969.

She is survived by one son, David Henry of Harker Heights, Texas; three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one infant son, Bobby.

Mrs. Smith was a member of the White Hall Pentecostal Church. She worked for the Christian Retirement Home in St. Louis for 20 years until her retirement in 1978.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall with burial at Youngblood Cemetery in Nortonville. Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Saturday.
