ODDY, EDNA MARIE (MASON)

Edna M. Oddy, 93, dies in Wisconsin

ELKHORN, Wis. - Edna Marie Oddy, 93, of Elkhorn, Wis., and formerly of Murrayville, died Monday, Aug. 6, 1990, at Lakeland Nursing Home in Elkhorn.

She was born Aug. 19, 1896, in Murrayville, a daughter of Thomas and Luella Mason. She married Walter Oddy on April 25, 1918, in Jacksonville. He died in 1966.

Surviving are three daughters, Mildred Desmedt of Elkhorn, Wis., Ruth Robertson of Chicago and Rita Harding of McAllen, Texas; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; one sister, Ida Vedder of Jacksonville; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Betts Funeral Home in Elkhorn, Wis. The body will be cremated and committal services will be conducted at Youngblood Cemetery in Nortonville at a later date. Mackey-Daws Funeral Home in Murrayville is in charge of local arrangements.
