Alma McLamar
Mrs. Alma B. McLamar, 69, of 308 North Church street died at Our Saviour's hospital at 12:15 p.m. Monday where she had been a patient for the past six weeks.
She was born in Nortonville, September 1, 1892, a daughter of John S. And Lucinda Dikis Fanning. She married Olin M. McLamar November 5, 1908, who survives with the following children; Merrill of Homestead, PA.; Sylvia French of Jacksonville; John of Rapid City, SD, Martha, wife of Clifford Upchurch of Jacksonville; Betty, wife of Ray Pruden of Versailles; Martha Ruth, wife of Thomas Knapp of Bellfountaine, OH; eight grandchildren and three great-granchildren; one brother, Wilbert Fanning of Jacksonville; and one sister Velma Beckman of Indian Orchard, MA. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
She was a member of Youngblood Baptist church at Nortonville.
The remains were removed to the Gillham Funeral Home where the family will meed friends from 7-9 PM Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at Youngblood Baptist church Thursday at 2 PM, Rev. Lee Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Young blood cemetery.
