Kelly

Charles (Dick) Kelly, 604 North East Street, a lifetime resident of Morgan county, passed away at 5:55 O'clock this morning at Oak Lawn sanitarium after a short illness.

Mr. Kelly was born August 18, 1878 at Nortonville, a son of Milton and Alice Butts Kelly. He resided in the Nortonville community until 3 years ago, when the family moved to Jacksonville. Mr. Kelly had been employed by the Berger Motor Company.

On June 12, 1901, he was united in marriage with Miss Gertrude Henry. The wife survives together with three daughters, Catherine Odeta Elliott of Beardstown, Frances and Lula Mae at home; two brothers, Ray and Roy Kelly of this city and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Wilbur and Mrs. Bertha Stephen, both of ____.

The remains were prepared for burial at the Williamson Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday at Youngblood Baptist Church at Nortonville, in charge of Rev. March of White Hall. Interment will be in Youngblood cemetery.
