Joseph Henson, 61, of Waverly dies

WAVERLY - Joseph Calvin Henson, 61, of Waverly, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at Passavant Hospital.

He was born near Woodson on April 19, 1924, a son of Guy and Jessie Britenstine Henson. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Witt of Waverly; and two brothers, Jim Henson of Waverly and Charles Henson of Jacksonville.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Neece Funeral Home in Waverly, with burial in Woodson Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Waverly Rescue Squad.
