Francis Reiser Courier, 75, of Franklin died Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 14, 1990, at Skyview Nursing Manor.

He was born Feb. 3, 1915, in Alexander, the son of Albert and Elizabeth Reiser Courier. He married Mary Childers on Feb. 14, 1986, in Nortonville.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Bill Courier of Wichita, Kan.; three brothers, Everett Courier and Ervwin Courier, both of Alexander, and John Courier of Franklin; and one sister, Lucile Frainer of New Berlin.

Mr. Courier was a retired sheep farmer.

Committal services were held at 11:30 Thursday, Nov. 15, 1990, at Youngblood Cemetery in Nortonville with the Rev. C. L. Blanton officiating. Pallbearers were Richard Neece, Wes Caruthers, Darrell Sayers, Wayne Simpson, Ron Lomelino and Randy Mahon. Williamson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
