Michael Earl "Hacksaw" Chaudoin, 40, of Glasgow, died early Sunday from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident.

He was born on April 17, 1959 in Jacksonville, the son of Ralph H. and Delores Haerle Chaudoin.

He is survived by his father of Nortonville, and mother, now Delores (husband, Jimmie) Barber, of Jacksonville; one daughter, Tifany Lynne; and one son, Zachariah Thomas, both of Morton; one brother, David, of Puyallup, Wash.; two sisters, Rena (husband, David) Popp of Dothan, Ala., and Diane, of Jacksonville; two nieces; and his special friend, Angie Painter, of Roodhouse, and her two sons, Justin and Daniel.

Mr. Chaudoin was a welder and fabricator with Davidson Welding in Alsey. He enjoyed boating, fabricating metal crafts and country music.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Williamson Funeral Home with burial at Nortonville Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will meet friends 6-8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the family.
